1. Scope and applicable terms
These terms cover Qanify’s proprietary portions of SakuFolio Free and Pro for Windows. Microsoft Store acquisition, installation, payment, refunds and licensing are also subject to the applicable Microsoft terms. Mandatory law and third-party licenses take precedence where applicable. Publishing this page does not itself change the terms of an earlier acquisition or the text embedded in an installed application.
2. Permission to use
Subject to your applicable Store license and edition entitlement, you may install and use SakuFolio for personal or commercial document processing. The software is licensed, not sold. Qanify retains rights in its proprietary code and materials; third-party owners retain their respective rights. You retain your rights in your input documents and outputs.
3. Editions and functionality
Free and Pro have different limits and features as described in the applicable Store listing and application. A Pro purchase does not promise unannounced functionality, future products or lifetime support. Do not bypass edition or license restrictions except where applicable law or a third-party license expressly permits the relevant action.
4. Third-party software and license priority
SakuFolio includes third-party software governed by its own license terms. Those terms, including any rights to copy, modify, redistribute, replace components, obtain source, or reverse engineer for debugging modifications, are not restricted by this EULA. If these terms conflict with a third-party license, that license controls for the relevant component. No term here requires you to surrender rights granted by an open-source license.
5. Responsible use and document handling
Use the software only with documents you are authorized to process and in accordance with applicable law. Keep backups and review outputs before relying on them. Compression and other PDF operations may affect quality, metadata, forms, annotations, signatures or document behavior. A target output size is best effort, not a guarantee.
6. Privacy and support
PDF processing takes place locally on your device. The separate SakuFolio Privacy Policy explains application data practices and support communications. Microsoft’s services are governed by Microsoft’s policies. For assistance, contact support@qanify.com; do not send confidential documents unless appropriate arrangements have been agreed.
7. Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the software is supplied as is and as available, without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation or fitness for every purpose. To that same extent, Qanify is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the software. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where applicable.
8. Updates and contact
Updates may change functionality and may be distributed through Microsoft Store. Any revised terms apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and the terms governing your acquisition; a website edit alone is not a claim of retroactive acceptance.
